ANGELA MORGAN lives and works as an artist in the Kootenay region of British Columbia with her husband Brendan and four children. The completion of her Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in April 2000 ended a lengthy stretch of education. Angela attended Bismarck State College in North Dakota, Concordia University in Montreal, and the Universities of Regina and Calgary.

Angela's work celebrates humanity through the use of colour, pattern and line. Her human figures express the poses of life; the jubilation of dance, the contemplation of parenthood, and the melancholy of summer's end. Colours fuse and meld to achieve gesture; transforming abstract images into living moments.

Angela's biography and work
are profiled in Magazin Art (Summer 2007), available
at the Gallery.
