The subjects of David's works are very diverse, ranging from landscapes to wildlife and historical studies. Whatever he paints, whether bald eagles in the Queen Charlotte Islands, tranquil villages on the shores of Nova Scotia or the flora and fauna on Baffin Island, his work always has a naturalistic theme. He tries to get across the power of the natural world and how important it is not to lose touch with that aspect of what we are. David has traveled extensively throughout Canada and other countries of the world. His experiences have led to a rich array of paintings which now hang in private and corporate collections in Canada, the USA, Great Britain, Japan, Korea and Australia.
