The three birds pictured here belong to a flock owned by Herb and Linda
Allen who have a small holding in the hills just west of Penticton, B.C.
Herb very kindly showed me the way to the corn barrel -- chickens are not
great posers so bribery is the way to go. Occasionally one finds a ready
made composition but most often many drawings have to be cobbled together
into situations we humans can identify with. 'Tis a great time user but I
do enjoy the colours!
