"Nova Scotia October"
12 x 16 - acrylic
$595 Framed

Autumn in New England and the Maritimes convinces one that mother nature
really is the greatest colourist of all -- the Americans show a stunning blaze of the reds and
yellows with a tiny measure of Canadian reserve present on our side of the border. I found an
expression of strength in Nova Scotia -- steely grey granite hills patched with red leafed
berry bushes holding tight and being anchored by wind shaped black spruces.
The trees stand, defiant, ready to fight for another annual ring.
