Lovers of fine art should experience firsthand why people come from throughout the Greater Vancouver region of British Columbia to visit the White Rock Gallery. We carry an extraordinary selection of original paintings, serigraphs, etchings, ceramics, bronzes and stone sculpture from across Canada.

Our outstanding artists (see the COMPLETE LIST) run the gamut from seasoned veterans like Mike Svob and Alan Wylie to emerging talents like still-life painter Mickie Acierno. You will find distinctive abstract paintings by Pietro Adamo, Michael den Hertog, Don Li-Leger and others, and a powerful range of Canadian landscapes (for example, the rugged lyricism of Nicholas Bott, the bold brilliance of Phil Buytendorp, the haunting storytelling of Mark Fletcher, the high-realism of Andrew Kiss, the textured “treescapes” of David Langevin, the colour mastery of Min Ma and the inspired lighting of Renato Muccillo).

Here too you will find the ingenious and subtly mirthful sculptures of Nicola Prinsen; the elegant forms of stone sculpture by Marilyn Armitage; the deeply moving Tibetan portraiture of Donna Zhang; the consummate workmanship of Dongmin Lai; the enchanting interior scenes of Larry Bracegirdle; the famous “hat ladies” of Danny McBride; the refined playfulness of Karen Hoepting, Angela Morgan and Michael Stockdale; the bold palette-knife compositions of Constance Bachmann; the arresting abstract florals of Susan Flaig; the contemplative figures of Vladan Ignatovic; Michael O’Toole’s well-known depictions of Canada’s west coast and of Old Europe; Bev Binfet's spare yet expressive figurative and landscape work; Niels Petersen’s unique colours and perspectives of Vancouver’s streets and surrounds; the cityscapes and landscapes of Ed Loenen, known for his indelible “Strathcona” series; the meticulous koi fish paintings of Terry Gilecki; the confident and colourful works of Laura Harris; the rivetting charcoal portraits of Jim Nedelak; and the stunning poetic realism of Christopher Walker.

You will also be impressed by the Gallery's exquisite custom framing, which includes a large selection of Italian hand-finished mouldings. Appointments for selection of the perfect frame are recommended since the Gallery brings a great deal of personal attention and expertise to the design.

The White Rock Gallery is proud to belong with the best of the art galleries along British Columbia's west coast. Its calming and friendly environment will make you feel right at home!

For our U.S. visitors, the gallery is conveniently located just a few minutes north of the Peace Arch border crossing.
