July 2001: Sculptor Nicola Prinsen brought what may very well be White Rock Gallery's most unique delivery ever!  Her latest work is Jane, a beautiful, 3/4 life size bovine.  Transporting Jane from Nicola's studio on Salt Spring Island was no small task, involving construction of a custom crate, transport by barge and careful offloading, supervised by Nicola (click on thumbnail photos below to see enlarged image).
