Rick Bond draws deep inspiration from his early life on the rugged West Coast. Surrounded by ocean landscapes and coastal light, his connection to place continues to shape his vibrant, expressive paintings today.
A turning point came after visiting the Vancouver Art Gallery, where Bond discovered his passion for art. Though initially trained at the University of British Columbia, he went on to pursue painting professionally, earning AFCA Signature Status with the Federation of Canadian Artists, a mark of distinction among Canadian artists.
